Chicago crime year isn’t just limited to guns.

Last week four people (three teens and one adult), strangled two 22-year-old males to death with intention to dismember them.

The four suspects, Alisa Massaro, 18; Bethany McKee, 18; Adam Landerman, 19 and Joshua Miner, 24, were all arrested in the suburb Joliet on robbery and murder charges. Landerman is the son of a Joliet police sergeant.

The two victims, Eric Glover and Terrence Rankins, were lured into the house where the group planned on robbing them. Instead, the four strangled the two to death and proceeded to “party” and play video games together.

At about 4 p.m. on Thursday, the police found the bodies. The four suspects were ordered held in lieu of $10 million bail in connection with the brutal crime.

Family members of the two victims are saddened and confused about why the foursome chose to kill their loved ones.

It’s demonic. This is evil,” Jamille Kent, Rankins’ mother, told ABC Chicago. “He is 22 years old. He didn’t get to live his life because of sick people.”

Wow. Whatever material items they were after do not amount to the price of two lives. We’re praying for the victims’ families.
