Whether or not you have to wear glasses for your sight, chances are you have a pair you love. And just like us, rappers have also made sunglasses a staple in their wardrobe.

Well, Corey Shapiro and his Vintage Frames Company just released their latest video in a series about the role of sunglasses in hip-hop – straight from one of its pioneers, DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Jazzy Jeff briefly discusses his sunglasses being a staple throughout his role on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, as well as in his own life, since he actually needed glasses to improve his vision! He also talks about how important sunglasses were to hip-hop culture, both as a whole and in his hometown of Philadelphia.
