A mother finds peace in her daughter’s last words.

VIDEOS: WTF?! Bullied Black Student Invited To KKK Party In His Honor!

Danielle Green, mother of a bullied 14-year-old read her daughter, Angel Green’s tear jerking suicide notes to the Senate Education Committee in Indianapolis in an attempt to convince senators to change how schools approach bullying.

In the note Angel addressed her bullies directly, saying:

“To all the bullies that have called me names, you are the reason why I am feeling the way I am now. I didn’t want to die. I just wanted to be saved from the pain.”

The distraught teen hung herself on a tree that her school bus passed by en route to school everyday. Her mother believes it was strategically done so that her bullies could see what their hurtful words made her do.

Leaving a separate note for her mother, Angel wrote:

“I’m really sorry that I did this…. don’t you EVER think it was your fault because it’s not. I love you so much and I couldn’t ask for a better mom…. but my heart can’t take this pain. It’s bullying that killed me. Please get justice.”

Her mother is doing just that, getting justice. Danielle is one of many moms advocating for mandatory studying, training, support, and tracking and reporting of bullying incidents in schools.

Thankfully, Danielle’s efforts did not go in vain and her daughter’s last wishes were met. The bill was passed and will now be discussed and voted on by the entire senate.
