Wait a minute; this cover styling looks eerily similar to something we have seen before.
Bruno Mars is trying out a new look as the cover star of the latest issue of RollingStone Magazine, but it isn’t a look that is all his own.
The 28-year-old singer ditched his well-polished looks of button downs and fedoras for the cover, and instead adopted a look inspired by Trinidad James’ infamous All Gold Everything video.
For the shoot, Bruno was styled in a leopard button down shirt, all gold everything (naturally) and a cigarette hanging out of the side of his mouth ever-so-casually.
Here is what he had to say to the magazine.
On his family’s band breaking up when he was young:
“I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Because I feel like I can enjoy this so much.”
On writing “When I Was Your Man” for girlfriend Jessica Caban:
“You’re bringing up all these old emotions again. It’s just like bleeding!”
Ok, we’ll admit, this is a hybrid between Hendrix and Trinidad. Want to know how Trinidad James feels about it?
We kid.
