Has there ever been a song more appropriately titled?
There is no title better than “Q.U.E.E.N.” when you’re talking about Janelle Monae and Erykah Badu, two of hip-pop’s most electric voices. Janelle just released the video for their collaboration, which is the latest single from her upcoming album, The Electric Lady.
The stylish video is pretty cool because we get to see some of those delicious curves that Janelle Monae likes to hide.
Wanna hear something else interesting about Janelle and Erykah? They are apparently super, super tight.
During a Redbull music event the other day, Erykah Badu referred to Janelle as her twin. While Janelle admits to Rap-Up that she talks to “her on the phone at least three or four times a week.”
Like, of course these two would be friends.
