Diggy Simmons continues to keep his name buzzing.
Just last Sunday, the young rap star was in the top five finalist on MTV2’s Sucker Free Summit’s Breakthrough MCs of 2010 list. Not only was he in the top five — alongside Nicki Minaj, J. Cole, Travis Porter, and Wiz Khalifa — Simmons was also the youngest.
Now, as fans eagerly anticipate the relase of his new mixtape, Airborne — which has been pushed back from July 29 to August 8 — Simmons makes another move by releasing a new song from the mixtape. ‘Thinkin Bout U’ shows the rapper’s softer side, and his ability to create songs for the ladies, which coincides well with his burgeoning status as every high school girl’s future husband. The song also features the fast rising singer/songwriter, Bei Maejor on the hook.
