Guess who is fed up with the GOP’s petty political games? Most of America. A new poll revealed that 70 percent of the nation disapproves of congressional Republicans’ budget wrangling and 51 percent “strongly” disapprove of their behavior. Despite the warnings from economists and the treasury secretary, Senate Republicans are flirting with the idea of defaulting on the United States debt. Say what? They base that on a theory from Tea Party House members, who argue that the nation can simply prioritize which debts it pays if Congress fails to lift the debt ceiling above the $16.7 trillion that the Treasury Department has estimated the country will hit on Oct. 17. Will Cee Lo Green be prosecuted for date rape? According to TMZ, the LAPD is busy writing up a detailed report that will determine his fate after a woman accused the singer of spiking her drink with ecstasy in L.A. last year. [TMZ]

So this happened. A member of a Georgia Tech fraternity sent out a chapter-wide email advising his frat brothers on how to lure “rapebait” at parties. The subject of his email is “Luring your Rapebait,” and it reads as a “How-to” guide on talking to girls at parties, getting them drunk, aggressively dancing with them, then finally, closing the deal. And although he urges his brothers, “NO RAPING,” this is the rapiest tangent I’ve ever seen. Read the highly inappropriate email here…[Gawker]
