Move over Eminem, Drake is the new “rap god.”
Kanye West performed in Toronto over the weekend for his “Yeezus” tour, and of course, Drake was there. As the show was coming to a close, the “Bound 2” rapper ran through his “thanks yous,” expressing gratitude for Drake’s attendance.
“I want to thank the rap god Drake for coming out tonight.”
As Kanye blurted the words “rap god” and Drake in the same sentence the crowd erupted, co-signing Kanye’s statement. Drake and Kanye have always had an interesting relationship. The “Worst Behavior” rapper has cited Kanye as one of his biggest inspirations in the past, so this admission is huge.
