President Barack Obama opened the floor for questions. With over 200 young people in the audience, he invited questions and also responded to Twitter feedback.

One of issues he addressed was his stance on ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell’ (policy that restricts men and women from serving openly gay in the military).

The President’s answer was clear and firmly stated that he has more than ‘mentioned’ his opinions on ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ and that it will ‘end on my watch.’

When asked via twitter whether or not being gay was a choice, the President answered, ‘No. We’re all God’s children, people are born with a certain make-up. We are all children of God.’

Another hot button issue everyone wanted to talk about was of course, cyber bullying and harassment in teens.

In response to Rutgers student Tyler Clamentio and bullying, the President said that he instills in his two young daughters to put themselves in other people’s shoes and not to judge someone because they are different.
