Hip-Hop and the NBA go together like peanut butter and jelly. Your favorite ballers on the court are usually found poppin’ bottles off the court with the hottest rappers in town. NBA All-Stars like LeBron James and Kobe Bryant have not only dabbled with the rap game, but rap’s finest have paid homage to their favorite players by dropping their names into verses. Together the rapper and the baller make up the best team in Hip-Hop; they shine for the paparazzi, party together whenever they can and sometimes, they even dress alike.

1. Lil Wayne & Kobe Bryant

When he’s not in the clink, Lil Wayne can be seen courtside at Lakers games decked out in Laker yellow watching his main man Kobe Bryant drop point after point on the court. Weezy even wrote a song about his BFF and his greatness — the appropriately titled ‘Kobe Bryant.’

2. Jay-Z & Drake & LeBron James

When it comes to game and style on and off the court, LeBron, Jay-Z and Drake must be the perfect trio. The trifecta have been seen partying together all over the U.S. LeBron is even rumored to be courted to play for the Knicks in the 2010-2011 season, but will the Jigga man get LeBron on the Nets’ roster? No word, yet, but a potential business deal could be bad for their friendship. As the saying goes, ‘Don’t dip your pen in the company ink.’
