British R&B/pop songstress Jessie J. is poised to be the next big thing out of the UK. She’s been trying to get her foot in the door for a while now, having originally recorded and co-written Miley Cyrus‘ defining hit ‘Party in the USA.’ Due to a number of things Jessie never got that break, but it seems like her time is now. Her first single, ‘Do It Like a Dude,’ has caused quiet the buzz among music fans, and her latest single ‘Price Tag,’ produced by Dr. Luke, is a surefire hit. The song, which features pop-rapper du jour B.o.B, is about the power of music, with Jessie singing ‘It ain’t about the money/ We just want to make the world dance/Forget about the price tag’ and ‘We need to take it back in time/To when music made us all unite.’ It’s a catchy song with a great message, we hope that it catches on.
