Founded in 2004, Voto Latino is shaking-up America’s political establishment by bringing thousands of young Latinos into the political process.  A non-partisan, nonprofit civic engagement organization, Voto Latino has produced award-winning campaigns headlined by celebrity voices that encourage young Latinos to register to vote and get engaged. September 15, 2010 (Washington, DC) – Voto Latino, a leading national non-profit, non-partisan organization, and mun2, NBC’s uniquely American bi-cultural network, officially launch its “United We Win” campaign by recalling the inspirational, iconic WWII posters of the 1940s depicting African-American and white soldiers working side by side for America’s future, United We Win 2010 asks young American Latinos to build a legacy for themselves by uniting and voting their values on November 2nd.

United We Win Denounces Arizona immigration law and calls for Americans to vote in the 2010 Mid-Term Elections and mun2 will Premiere the “United We Win” Behind the Scenes Special Featuring Exclusiive Celebrity Interviews on Saturday September 18th at 4:30pm ET/PT. The Campaign will feature star-studded PSAs, public awareness, education, and mobilization campaign for the 2010 mid-term elections, United We Win carries one main message: Latino issues are American issues, and American issues are Latino issues.

The United We Win campaign is co-chaired by Rosario Dawson, Eva Longoria-Parker, and Wilmer Valderrama, all three long-time supporters of Voto Latino’s mission. The co-chairs engaged a diverse, all-star roster of their celebrity peers to participate in the PSA and online advocacy campaign.

A 30 minute United We Win Behind-The-Scenes special will air on Saturday, September 18th at 4:30 PM ET/PT on mun2 and will feature exclusive interviews where celebrities share their personal stories and the importance of voting in the upcoming mid-term elections.  The special will air several times throughout September and October on the network.

United We Win is built on the belief that young voters can demand elected officials, regardless of party, work together to solve our country’s toughest problems: unemployment, immigration, national security, education and the environment. This election is a pivotal one, in which young people have an opportunity to claim their role as the next Greatest Generation by going to the voting booth.
