By now you’ve probably heard or have seen that the bow tie look is back for the fashion world and those who style when heading out.

The Bow tie is a men’s neck tie, and of course in 2010 the tie has pretty much changed to an acceptable unisex accessories. Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, and Jonelle Monae have added much more to the look as women are helping to push the trend.

It is even hard to say exactly why the tie looks ok in style but that is what makes it even better. But we can suspect that it is similar to a few years back when the trend of wearing cardigans, seersucker, and tie bars.

The look didn’t even look all old-school it just looks tight, and thats the longevity factor about fashion. A suit or nice business attire can mean cummerbunds, studs, cuff links, and leather loafers. So we can all believe it is safe to say that the Bow ties are for those who favor the crisp, modern, businesslike look.

You can wear the jacket with a tie and jeans or no tie, or wear the whole tux with a tie or bow tie. It has become a lot more flexible, and it’s more about having a sense of fun with your style.

And we also hope that everyone had the chance to reach their polls and VOTE today !

The Bow Tie is Back!! Or Has It Left?

‘To its devotees the bow tie suggests iconoclasm of an Old World sort, an adherence to a contrarian point of view. The bow tie brings of intellectualism, real or feigned, and sometimes suggests technical decision making, maybe because it is so hard to tie. Bow ties are worn by magicians, country doctors, lawyers and professors or even by people hoping to look like the above.

But perhaps most of all, wearing a bow tie is a way of broadcasting an aggressive lack of concern for what other people think.’ -Warren St John, NY Times
