Never one to rest on his laurels, The-Dream has just dropped a video for three songs off of his Love King LP, which hit stores yesterday June 29. Dubbed ‘Trilogy,’ the video clocks in at over 12 minutes long and features the tracks ‘Yamaha,’ ‘Nikki Pt.2’ and ‘Abyss.’ True to the song, the ‘Yamaha’ portion of the video shows Dream doing his best Prince impersonation. The tone of the video shifts to a much darker place for ‘Nikki Pt. 2’ and ‘Abyss,’ which depict the break up of a relationship. The video was directed by Motion Fammily, who’ve made a name for themselves by directing gritty video for artists like Lloyd, Lil’ Boosie, and Yelawolf. Dream also dropped a preview for the video to ‘Panties to the Side,’ another track taken from Love King. This man’s work ethic is ridiculous!
