When I first heard that Gabrielle Union was being sued by Dwyane Wade‘s estranged wife I became insanely curious to find out why Gabrielle Union is being dragged into her boyfriend’s divorce drama. I have been, and continue to be under the assumption that she has NOTHING to do with it. To get the actual facts, Global Grind contacted Cook County in order to get a copy of the court documents that have been the cause of so much controversy. I read through this 47 page document to get the real details and finally figure out what is actually going on instead of assuming that what I’ve been hearing is true, because I know this usually isn’t the case.
So why is Gabrielle Union being sued by Siohvaughn Wade? Yes, she is dating the NBA star, but they haven’t been together for a long enough period of time that she deserves to be dragged into the details of the divorce. She had no part in the separation of the couple as they had issues way before she came into the picture. Gabrielle can be looked at as a source of comfort and stability for Dwyane during his messy and over-the-top divorce.

Court documents filed by Siohvaughn back in early 2009 blamed Dwyane Wade for child abandonment, adultery and for giving her herpes. Siohvaughn is painting a false picture of what the couple’s relationship was actually like.
