Raymond vs. Raymond is finally seeing the light of day and Usher is finally showing signs of having a proper comeback album. The anticipated album is set to release March 30th and previews of the album’s first video (and album cover) just hit the net.
It seemed like the crooner had lost his “mojo” …hence his last sound scan disappointment, “Here I Stand”. Since then all we were left with were the days of Confessions that we oh so crave.
Fortunately Mr. Raymond is raising the bar with his new project. He’s currently featured in four Top 20 songs on the US urban charts, Papers (thought to be surrounding recent divorce), Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home), There Goes My Baby, and the Gucci Mane collabo “Spotlight”.
Let’s not forget the hot leaked tracks “Little Freak” ft. Nicki Minaj and the Bangladesh produced “She Don’t Know”; both leaks are surely doing more good than harm.
I don’t know whether it’s, the music, his newly obtained “single” status or the paparazzi car chases .
Whatever it is, Usher really hasn’t had this much buzz in a while and with opportunity knocking once again, all that’s left to say is…Daddy’s Home.
