Then check out the awesome, yet slightly creepy new video from indie pop group The xx.
The video is for a remix of “Sunset,” a song off the band’s stellar 2012 album Coexist. The remix was done by English producer and member of the band, Jamie xx.
What makes this video completely mesmerizing are the visuals: it features footage from the ’70s of a woman performing on stage.
After doing some digging, we were able to find out that the singer was Lizzy Mercier Descloux and the video is from her performing a song called “Fire” on some French show from the ’70s.
