Republicans are known to run the house, but what if the democrat ran the house?

President Obama has said the unspoken truth that DC has taken their eyes off the ball, which is very true.

On Tuesday Obama laid out a series of familiar proposals that he would like to enforce his second-term. Now Obama is challenging House to do something a little uncommon but very simple, just to take action on his ideas.

Here are 10 things Americans could have if Republicans just back down.

More Gun Regulations:

  • Obama’s Gun Control Proposal requires a criminal background checks for all gun sales, including those by private sellers that currently are exempt.
  • Limiting ammunition magazines to 10 rounds.
  • Banning the possession of armor-piercing bullets by anyone other than members of the military and law enforcement, acting on a $4 billion administration proposal to help keep 15,000 police officers on the street in order to create a slave environment for Americans.

Lower Student Loan Rates:

The bipartisan proposal would link interest rates on federal student loans to the financial markets, so lower interest rates for now but they will skyrocket in a couple of years if the economy improves as expected. This is very similar to one that already passed in the Republican-led House.

Welfare:

Republican bill stopped the Obama administration from giving states more flexibility in welfare programs.

Republicans contend that President Barack Obama “gutted welfare” reform by waiving the work requirement, and that his administration did so illegally.

Democrats accused Republicans of pushing the bill just to stoke Republican voters. “This is part of the Ryan-Romney PR campaign up here today,” Rep. Jim McDermott

There is a safety net for some people in American (for the rich) but what happens when the only safety for the common people in American is nothing but rock bottom.

George Bush: Enough said

We could’ve had another president!!! Sorry Bush but you messed up two many times.

Nutrition Programs:

See the government wants to be unhealthy. Democrats slammed Republicans farm bill that would end funding for food nutrition programs. All Texas Republicans voted for the bill that left out nutrition programs for the first time in decades, after a massive fight over food stamp funding in the House last month.

Taxes:

Sheesh Republicans just don’t want democrats to make a come up smh!

Obama would like to Help Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses Access Capital and Grow allowing more jobs to be available. Obama’s first term and now second term he is trying to create more jobs for Americans and repair the economic state. Obama wants to extend 100% Expensing into 2012, which means the President is proposing to extend 100 percent expensing, the largest temporary investment incentive in history, allowing all firms large and small to take an immediate deduction on investments in new plants and equipment.

Retirement/ Social Security

Times are tough, before you realize it it’s going to close to retirement, but at this rate will we ever get the chance to retire? The Republicans, want to say entitlement spending must be reined in. But liberal Democrats argued, that Social Security benefits should be more generous, not less.

Health Care:

Every time I turn around there is always something on the news about there being a new toxic chemical in almost all of our foods! Nowadays it is important to have health care. Obama is trying to enforce Affordable Care Act. Obama’s Health Care Bill aims to reform the health insurance industry and the American health care system as a whole. It provides Americans access to affordable quality health care.

Sequester:

In 2011, Congress passed a law saying that if they couldn’t agree on a plan to reduce our deficit by $4 trillion — including the $2.5 trillion in deficit reduction lawmakers in both parties have already accomplished over the last few years. Sequester cuts will jeopardize our military readiness and eviscerate job-creating investments in education and energy and medical research, or cut a vital service that Americans depend on every single day, unfortunately Congress hasn’t compromised.

Future of Education:

A list of a few ways Democrats would better your child’s education in the future.

  • Removed banks as student loan middlemen, saving more than $60 billion.

Doubled investment in Pell Grant scholarships. Created American Opportunity Tax Credit of up to $10,000 over a 4 year degree. Working to help student loan payments be only 10% of a student’s monthly income.Pledged to incentivize colleges to keep their costs down.

Do you think we would be better off without Republicans?
