Nearly a month has passed since the verdict in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin at the hands of pseudo neighborhood watchman, George Zimmerman, but a not guilty verdict didn’t mean the fight for justice came to a halt.

Continuing to keep Trayvon’s memory alive, Ebony Magazine has released 4 alternate covers of their September issue to commemorate the ‘We Are All Trayvon’ movement with hopes of finding solutions on how we can protect and “Save Our Sons.”

The magazine covers feature Trayvon’s family, brother Jahvaris Fulton, mother Sybrina Fulton and father Tracey Martin, clad in professional attire. The other 3 covers feature celebrity fathers Dwyane Wade, Boris Kodjoe, and Spike Lee donning gray hoodies alongside their sons, black boys who all range in age, upbringing and demographic experience, but could have all been Trayvon Martin.

Inside the issue, Ebony explores different ways to stop gun violence and repeal the ‘Stand Your Ground’ law, while featuring a prayer from Bishop T.D. Jakes.

Our groundbreaking September 2013 issue will explore concerns around racial bias, how to find solutions for those concerns and how to heal and move forward.

The issue will also tackle social issues with articles about social justice and activism in addition to commentary from Jill Scott, Marc Lamont Hill and Reverend Al Sharpton. Check out the covers below, and be sure to pick up this must-read issue!
