Rihanna is now being sued by the funeral company that she hired for her grandmother’s funeral. Going all out for her late grandmother Clara Brathwaite’s funeral, Rihanna had tents, large multi-media screens and many exotic floral arrangements there. She wanted a party! The company that planned it all is saying that the bill came up to total over $150,000, but the singer only paid a quarter of it. Rihanna says that the bill is too expensive and she doesn’t intend to pay anymore money. So, the funeral company has decided to take her to court. [TMZ]

The next time you’re emailing your friend in Europe, the NSA will get the email too! The NSA has been scanning U.S. residents’ emails that go out of the country for any terrorism related communication. Journalist Charlie Savage claims that the agency is “temporarily copying and then sifting through the contents of what is apparently most e-mails and other text-based communications that cross the border.” NSA deputy director James Inglis claims, however, that the NSA doesn’t “target the content of U.S. person communications without a specific warrant anywhere on the earth.” Who knows what to believe from people who invade such privacy? Now this is just gross beyond words! A man who was on his way to a business trip in Florida and decided to grab a sandwich while waiting for his plane was in for the shock of his life. When Joel Woloshuk bought a focaccia sandwich at a restaurant within Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, he noticed that his sandwich was filled with maggots. “I’m looking at what I thought was parmesan, right? Then the parmesan started to move,” Woloshuk said. The restaurant’s president later released a statement claiming that these tiny maggots “could not have been generated on our premises” but were actually from the company that supplied his restaurant with their bread. “All products from the vendor were removed,” the company said in the statement. “Not a single crumb of bread from the vendor remains in the facility.” [Gawker]
