Yesterday, news broke that actor Lee Thompson Young passed away, which meant that fans of the old school Disney Channel days wept across the globe.

Even though he was playing a role on the show Rizzoli And Isles at the time of his death this week, many of us know Lee as Jett Jacksonwho was a big part of our childhoods.

Lee came into our world back in 1998, when The Famous Jett Jackson premiered. Not only did Jett make us want to be a famous action television star like his character Silverstone, but he also made a lot of us look at the potential girlfriend/boyfriend material our best friends might have.

Jett didn’t just fight crime while he was being Silverstone, but he also helped save the world with his friends when the cameras went off.

Even Beyonce knew that this show was worthy of an appearance from her and the rest of Destiny’s Child when they were featured on an episode towards the end of the series.

Although the show only aired for about 3+ years, it definitely stuck with us, and we won’t forget all of the lessons that Jett Jackson has taught us.

Take some time to remember why Jett Jackson was so epic by watching some moments below.

Can we just acknowledge how epic the theme song for this show was? Alright now, Disney!

Even though there weren’t many seasons of The Famous Jett Jackson, it still had enough popularity to make a pretty dope movie.

He might be a ladies man after being a big TV star, but we all know Jett Jackson and Kayla were just meant to be together.

That’s right guys…Beyonce and Destiny’s Child graced this show with their acting abilities back in the day. That means it’s part of Queen Bey’s childhood too!

A Jett Jackson rap song? This show has got to be down in the history books.

This show definitely had everyone making a cameo…including a young Britney Spears who performed her first hit “Baby One More Time.”

The show even did a whole episode dedicated to the dangers of using guns improperly. Sounds like this show needs to come back on ASAP.

Jett Jackson was also the lead into Rachel McAdams’ acting career, as she made one of her first appearances in an episode or two.
