Anna Wintour, Vogue HBIC turned artistic director for Condé Nast, made a one time appearance on Vogue’s Instagram feed, and designers, fashion fans and animals alike went gaga!
Of course, Wintour had to do it big for her ‘gram debut, considering she was professionally captured by Vogue’s photographer Taylor Jewell. In the pic, the 62-year-old dons her signature black shades as she peers over the coveted September issue.
The mag paired this caption with the photo, playfully initiating a new Instagram craze:
“Anna Wintour reads #TheSeptemberIssue. Do you? We would love to see it! Show us your #voguestagram.”
Since the photo’s Tuesday premiere, fashion designers Oscar De La Renta, Zac Posen, and Rebecca Minkoff got witty by joining in on the fun, posting similar snapshots on their feeds, with the #voguestagram stamp. Likewise, models, fashion fans and animals participated in the September issue celebration.
