Talk about a great wedding gift.

While most people headed to the beach, partied in their town, or attended Budweiser’s Made In America festival, Kanye West spent his Labor Day Weekend in Kazakstan.

Sounds like a pretty random place to spend the last summer holiday, but when the President of Kazakstan calls, you better answer. President Nursultan Nazarbayev called Kanye to perform at his grandson’s wedding reception, and for a very small fee of $3 million (insert sarcasm), Yeezus came without hesitation.

The oil-rich Central Asian republic has been ruled by President Nazarbayev since before the fall of the Soviet Union, and it seems the royals of Kazakstan have lots of money to blow.
