North West may only be a few months old, but she’s quickly making friends (and enemies) in the Kardashian household.
According to North’s aunt Kourtney Kardashian, Nori and Kourtney’s youngest child Penelope Disick have really hit it off, despite their age difference.
“Whenever Penelope sees North West and, you know, the second she walks into the room, Penelope gets so excited,” Kourtney told PEOPLE at the L.A. premiere of Thomas & Friends: King of the Railway. “We never really had cousins that were close in age…so I’m excited.”
Penelope may be a big fan of North West, but it seems her big bro is not! Three-year-old Mason Disick is used to sharing the spotlight after the birth of his baby sister, he isn’t, however, used to sharing his aunt Kim Kardashian.
“I think he gets a little bit jealous because he has a special relationship with his Aunt Kiki, and she takes away from that so he’s still kind of adjusting,” Kourt said of Mason.
Kim is also adjusting to the change and struggling to keep her tiny BFF Mason feeling important.
“I don’t think Kim knows what to do; she’s just like, ‘You don’t like me anymore?’ She feels like he is getting older and changing, and I think she gets confused and doesn’t know how to handle it. He’s like, ‘Why don’t you like me anymore? ‘Cause he sees her with the baby.”
Kourtney says she’s stepped in to the best of her ability to make her eldest feel extra special.
“I give him so much attention, and he gets so much attention from everyone else that I’m like I don’t even know,” she said.
Penelope isn’t the only one showing her BFF some love. Kourtney, little brother Rob Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian showed off their best friend accessories on Instagram.
We’re glad Khloe has besties to turn to during this difficult time.
