So this happened.

Police are searching for a group of women in Philadelphia who bashed in the windows of another woman’s house and released a box of rats into the home.

Investigators said an ongoing dispute over a man was the motive for the attack. That dispute escalated on Wednesday, when a woman in her 20s, her mother and a group of eight or nine other women went to the victim’s house with a baseball bat and the box of white rodents.

The group allegedly bashed in windows and the front door and then dumped the rodents into the home.

Police said one woman in the group also punched the 30-year-old victim and took her purse.

A family member in the home was taken to the hospital for a possible heart problem.

In other rodent news, the rats at a Manhattan area Dunkin’ Donuts have to find some new baked goods to gorge themselves on.

Thanks to the disturbing YouTube video that has singlehandedly ended our donut obsession, the store was shut down by the New York City Health Department.

While the location manager initially denied the store had a vermin problem when contacted by Gothamist on Wednesday, today a man who answered the phone said: “We have some issues.”

Obviously.
