The 99-2000s Cash Money era is reemerging with Lil Wayne and Mannie Fresh’s reunion.
Over the weekend, Lil Wayne and Mannie Fresh were photographed in the studio together and hip-hop fans lost their minds. It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Mannie alongside Wayne, but apparently they’re working on Weezy’s upcoming Tha Carter V album together.
A producer helping out on Tha Carter V posted a snippet of an untitled song with the hashtags #Carter5, #hit, and #producing. Wayne can be heard rapping in the 15-second teaser.
Tha Carter V was originally scheduled to be released May 5, but that won’t be happening anymore. So stay tuned, and enjoy the snippet up top.
