On February 13, 2009, Drake released his third mixtape So Far Gone for free on his website. The mixtape would transform the rapper into the superstar we know today.

To this day, many Drake fans still see So Far Gone as Drizzy’s greatest project. So it’s understandable why we haven’t gotten a tape from the rapper since.

If you can’t make a mixtape better than So Far Gone, why bother, right?

Well, it looks like Drake is getting ready to give it a shot.

Last night, Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan appeared on NBATV to talk about the success of his team so far. Drake is a minority owner of the team, so naturally, DeMar was asked about the rapper. Here’s what he said:

“Because he definitely really do support us; it’s not just for show. He come in the locker room, [we] talk to him. I talked to him the other night. Actually, he said he wants to give me his mixtape that come out in January.”

Did he really just say a new Drake tape is coming in January?

(Hey, Drake did mention he already has Spring 2015 poppin’.)

A possible new Drake tape has us so excited, we started looking up some of Drake’s old classics. Specifically, the loose tracks that never appeared on an official project.

Here are 10 classic Drake loosies that were hot enough to appear on an album, but for whatever reason, didn’t make it.
