We are in the midst of Yeezy season, and it looks like it’s going to last for a fair amount of time this go-around.
Kanye West has been doing tons of interviews, releasing new music, and performing at numerous shows over the past couple of months, and now he’s landed a headlining slot for a major music festival this summer.
The 2015 Glastonbury Festival has recruited the “All Day” rapper to perform as the main act for their concert series in June, which will be held in England.
Emily Eavis of the organization announced the news in a statement, We are thrilled to let you know we have the one and only Kanye West headlining Saturday night on the Pyramid stage!”
This is `Ye’s first time taking the main stage for the festival, and will be joined on the headlining lineup by The Foo Fighters and Lionel Richie.
The fest will take place from June 24th to June 28th. Make sure you cop your tickets!
