Tiffany Haddish has been on the run of a lifetime this year, and now she’s doing a major press run for her newly released book, The Last Black Unicorn. Her latest stop was at The Breakfast Club, and she spends nearly an hour talking to DJ Envy, Charlamagne, and Angela Ye about her recent skyrocket success. She explains why the book is titled that in the first place–which she also details on the first page of the actual book–and talks about her childhood growing up with a huge mole on her forehead, which made the kids at school refer to her as a “dirty unicorn.” She continues to thank her bullies from school, though, because fighting back at them is why she’s so successful today.

The comedienne was recently on Ellen, and on the show Degeneres told Haddish that the show was gifting her with a 7-day rental of a Tesla, which she could drive off in after the show ended. She revealed on The Breakfast Club, however, that after the show ended, production took the rental car away and didn’t actually let her have it for the week…or even drive off in it.

This almost 50 minute interview is full of gems, which isn’t surprising from the always entertaining Ms. Haddish. If you’re looking for a laugh–or 50, you’ve found the right video. Congrats to Tiffany on all her success!
