If you’re not from the New York metropolitan area and come for a visit, words like “b” and “deadass” can feel like they have an expiration date from overuse. But with the homey vibes Desus and Mero provide on their show, you’ll find yourself turning into a bodega hopping, Yankees loving ally who might unintentionally utter “b” when you least expect it.
Add in Mero’s mantras like “suck my d*ck from the back”, or Desus’ warnings of people “talking spicy,” and you’ve got a whole language that’s snuck into your lexicon.
