Music producer Swizz Beatz has adopted a charter school in his hometown of the Bronx, New York. Swizz Beatz has pledged to support the arts program of the school located in the Hunts Point section of the South Bronx. The producer toured the school yesterday and addressed the importance of education, reassuring his commitment to the school.
Yesterday Beatz also made an appearance on 106 and Park with Diddy and Dirty Money to speak on his current charitable works. Along with adopting the charter school Swizz Beatz also plans to donate a portion of his up-coming album sales to arts and music program.
“I just came from the Bronx Charter School For the Arts,” he said. “I’m in the middle of sponsoring them, funding them, helping to rebuild them. Shout out to them, they got an art auction coming up.”
