If you’re a hip-hop enthusiast, then you know what June 18th is all about: anticipation!

On June 18th, you can expect some really dope albums to drop, like Kanye West‘s Yeezus, which just so happens to be the same day Mac Miller‘s Watching Movies with the Sound Off comes out.

And Mac definitely had something to say about his competition.

The Pittsburgh rapper recently linked up with DJ Skee to divulge his thoughts on the shared release date — a release date he had previous to Kanye’s announcement.

“At first, I was like — because I had that date for a while — it felt so right. I was a little nervous at first, but I was like, this is an omen.”

We’re interested to see how Mac Miller and J. Cole fair against a juggernaut like Kanye. Can’t wait for June 18th!
