On Tuesday, news came out that MMG rapper and all-around wild boy Gunplay was set to report to jail due to armed robbery charges. The news literally comes out of nowhere. However, as the days pass, we are learning more and more details about what went down.
DETAILS: He’s Gone! Gunplay Turns Himself Into Police
Last night, on the CBS News in Miami, a segment was aired detailing what happened. During the segment, CBS aired footage of a crazed Gunplay, real name Robert Morales, confronting an employee at a local tax business back in April. He is clearly seen striking the man while holding onto a gun. Also seen in the video is a man named Randy Jones. Gunplay and his codefendant took the man’s gold chain and cell phone.
The footage is released as Gunplay turned himself into police custody yesterday for robbery charges. MTV exclusively got their hands on the footage of a buttoned up Gunplay staying quiet as he goes in. He can also be seen handing his family members some of his personal belongings.

According to Gunplay’s attorney, Michael Grieco, if he is convicted, the rapper could face life.
