Ever wonder why a nugget is never called a chicken? A hamburger never called a cow? Veal never called a calf? A hotdog never called a pig? Milk never called breast milk? The list goes on and on…

A good guess would be because the food industry wants to trick you into thinking that what is on your plate can’t feel pain, longing, terror and sadness. They want you to be able to look at your dog or cat differently than the way you view a farm animal even though a pig is smarter than your dog, a calf more gentle than your well meaning cat and when it comes to suffering, we are ALL equal.

GlobalGrind is proud to introduce you again to our friends at Mercy For Animals, a national animal advocacy organization known for its shocking undercover investigations exposing cruelty to animals at factory farms, hatcheries and slaughterhouses. They are badass.

We ask that you take just four minutes out of your busy day to meet your meat and watch “Farm to Fridge.” We GUARANTEE you will lose your lunch and your dinner …  Doubt it? Well, how do you feel about piglets having their testicles ripped out and their tails chopped off without painkillers? Cool with that? Or how about some baby male chicks ground up alive in giant macerators and egg-laying hens packed into tiny, wire cages so small they cannot even spread their wings? That’s ok with you?

Wait, before you reach for that tuna sandwich..why not check out fish being skinned and dismembered while still alive, conscious and suffering? No problem?

And while we are at it, can you stand to see hens, mother pigs and baby calves confined in cages and stalls so small the animals cannot comfortably stand up, turn around, lie down, or extend their limbs? That sits well with your spirit? Tough questions, no doubt. And maybe, just maybe, your answers AFTER you view this short video may surprise you.

We are thrilled that MFA’s undercover investigations have pulled back the curtain on industrial animal agriculture, exposing a culture of cruelty that has horrified millions of Americans. Get ready to be shocked. Then get ready to change your eating habits. A picture tells a thousand words … a video can save more than 100 animals a year per viewer.

Lets go…
