In a shocking turn of events, a young father who recently lost his job killed his two children and wounded two others, including his own wife, all before turning the gun on himself.

Neighbors say the young couple in their 20s had three boys and a girl, all under the age of six. The father recently lost his job and was seen cursing and waving a handgun in the front yard of his family’s home.
Neighbor Lisa Perez spoke with ABC 13 and said the father was:
“Waving a gun, telling people to go on by and I guess after that, he just turned around and shot himself because he was right behind his vehicle when I got home. To do something like this, it’s no good, shooting yourself and your family.”
The shooting occurred around 3:15pm at a home in the 2700 block of 10th Street in Bay City, Texas, a small suburb just outside of Houston.
The wounded children were transported to various hospitals in the Houston area via LifeFlight medical helicopters.
The woman is currently in surgery at Matagorda Regional Hospital, while sadly two of the children died overnight. The conditions of the other victims are not known at this time.
