R&B singer/songwriter The-Dream made $15 million off Rihanna’s 2007 hit song “Umbrella.” R&B singer The-Dream has penned hit songs for more celebrities than most can imagine.

He’s responsible for Justin Bieber’s breakout song “Baby” and during Rihanna’s LOUD tour he spent lots of time writing songs with her for future projects. 

The-Dream’s been in the UK for the past couple of weeks, so he decided to stop by hip-hop connoisseur Tim Westwood’s radio show to talk money and of course, baby mama drama.

According to The-Dream, he doesn’t experience drama with his two baby mamas, singers Christina Milian and Nivea, because he cuts them a check every month. 

After listening to The-Dream discuss his financial breakdown, we suspect that $15 million from “Umbrella” went to alimony for two wives and child support for four kids.
