The Internet has been a-buzzing since Jennifer Lopez’s Vogue cover was leaked last week, but now that the officially hit newsstand on Wednesday, things are buzzing about the content of the J.Lo article.
In the April issue of the fashion magazine, Vogue caught up with Jennifer’s long time friend and manager Benny Medina. In the interview, Benny opened up about Jennifer’s relationship with 24-year old Casper Smart admitting that he hoped that the 42 year old would have been a little more patient in waiting for the right guy.
“The thing that I always sort of wished is that she would give herself time to just naturally meet someone, instead of having obsessive guys pursue her,” he said.

Now J.Lo is reacting to her manager’s statements about her dating life and taking it all in stride, explaining the comment to Access Hollywood:
“I know Benny and he’s my best friend, my creative soul mate. I know the way he says things, and I know he would never say anything that would be hurtful to me in any way. Things can be taken out of context…. You have to be aware of what can be misconstrued.”

In the Vogue interview, Jennifer also spoke about a special ring that she has been wearing on her wedding finger since her divorce from Marc Anthony, a diamond band that says “I Love Me.”
“That may sound conceited, but it’s not. If you don’t love yourself, you can’t love anybody else. And I think as women we really forget that. All we want is to be happy, to feel secure, to feel understood. But you can’t look for somebody else to do that for you. You think about it. Oh, yeah, of course I care about myself. Of course I have good self-esteem. But when you really take a good look, you are not treating yourself like someone who does. And when you let people treat you in a way that you don’t want to be treated, it’s not their fault. It’s yours.”
Wow, Jennifer seems to be in the highest of spirits in spite of any type of shade being thrown her way about her relationships.
