This Saturday, Occupy Wall Street is going to Let Freedom Spring, because the movement is back on the streets.
The winter didn’t end the movement for economic justice one bit and the police can’t beat back the power of their ideals.
The #LetFreedomSpring rally will be held this Saturday, March 24th in Liberty Square then march to Union Square.
This Saturday, they will stand in solidarity with communities who have been targeted by police just for living their lives.
They will march with communities of color who have been murdered and beaten, Muslim communities that have been spied on and members of the press whose rights have been trampled.
They are calling for Ray Kelly to resign for his total lack of accountability to the 99 percent and his shameless, aggressive defense of the 1 percent.
The movement refuses to live in a city where bankers plunder freely and millions live in fear, their goal is to show a better world, and a better city, is possible – so #LetFreedomSpring.
