New York Jets owner Woody Johnson is rooting for presidential candidate Mitt Romney … more than his own team!

LIST: Show You How To Do This Son! The Fail-Proof Ways To Win A Debate

When asked what he considers a bigger priority during an interview with Bloomberg TV: a winning season for the Jets, or a winning election for Mitt Romney, Johnson made it clear that his politics come before “Gang Green.”

“Well I think you always have to put country first. So I think it’s very, very important that for – not only us – but in particular for our kids and grandkids that this election come off with Mitt Romney and (Paul) Ryan as President and vice president.”

This admission comes one day after the Jets’ loss to San Francisco (34-0), so of course Jet fans were less than enthused to hear Johnson prioritize Romney over his team, even if he is a major supporter of Mitt Romney and the chairman of his New York campaign.
