Dressed in a pink button up, Macklemore recalled his confusion about homosexuality and the negative stereotypes that exhibit America’s less than tolerant behavior towards equality for all.

After his heartfelt performance, Ellen embraced Macklemore emotionally thanking him over and over again for taking a stance against homophobia and supporting the gay community.
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ debut album, The Heist, landed at number two on the Billboard charts with a solid 78,000 copies sold.
The independently released album is currently available at a music retailer near you.
