A good idea was making sneakers painted to look like the galaxy, but some of the more creative kicks came from seriously random products. Recently, lip balm brand Carmex inspired the colorway of the Nike LeBron X. We’re not sure how the thought of a basketball sneaker and lip balm came together, but the outcome is pretty awesome.

Granted, the colorway is a PE (Player Exclusive) and probably won’t ever see a store shelf, but there still have been some really cool kicks based on some seriously odd items.
