Lil’ Bow Wow has certainly managed to merge his way back into the hip-hop world, with his new 106 & Park hosting gig alongside Angela Simmons.

In the anniversary issue of Bleu Magazine, Bow Wow puts his dapper face on as he chats about his survival of the fittest strategy of transforming into his 106 & Park role, literally leaving four other newbie hosts in the dust.

In the corresponding photo shoot, Mr. Shad Moss shows off his tattooed arms while sporting a black and white leather tank and gets his grown-man on while donning a white collared shirt and an iced out timepiece.

Check out a few excerpts from his sit-down with the mag below.

On receiving advice from his mentor, Mr. Lion himself:

“When Snoop talks, I listen, I might have the ego with everybody else, but when they talk, I’m always going to be the little homie.”

On rappers dealing with internet fame:

“I’ve seen some of those guys that get millions of views. They shy up because it’s a whole ‘nother ball game. This ain’t in front of the desktop uploading shit. This is the big leagues.”

On why 106 & Park is so important to the music industry:

“106 is definitely important because then nobody would be selling records. It’s cool to have 11,000,000 hits on You Tube, but sometimes out of that 11,000,000, it’s still a lot of people that never seen your shit.”

On transitioning from an artist featured on 106 & Park to the show’s host:

“I’m the guy that’s the ball of energy. I used to see things as a fan and say I wish they did this or that. It’d “be more fun.”

The anniversary issue hits stands this fall, will you be reading for more of Mr. 106 & Park?
