Event organizers have decided to drop A$AP Rocky from an upcoming performance that was scheduled for next Wednesday at York University in Toronto over his recent fan-slapping allegations.
A$AP was charged with criminal battery last week for allegedly slapping his fan, Lisa Wade, during a Philadelphia concert. York’s student federation pulled the plug on his upcoming performance, saying:
“The event cannot proceed until this matter is resolved.”
The event organizers did add, though, that this does not mean they think he’s guilty of the crime.
Kinda sounds like a lose-lose situation. Hopefully it gets cleared up ASAP.
