This is some crazy news…

According to Colorado News Day, a lethal heroin strain has hit the streets and its caused over 80 deaths in the last year alone.

Apparently the new strain of heroin is laced with fentanyl, which is said to be a powerful (and popular) synthetic opiate. It’s a resource that is usually used on those who are suffering from chronic pain, especially those who have end-stage cancer.

The popularity of this new heroin strain comes from the fact that fentanyl is supposed to be 80 times more powerful than morphine. Unfortunately, it can easily kill by “inhibiting [the] breathing” of users.

Reports say that dealers are pushing the new strain as a drug that will give users a “super high”, but in reality, it’s nothing to play with.

There’s no word as to where the fentanyl supply is coming from, as it is only administered in hospitals and comes in the form of patches and lollipops.

Philip Seymour Hoffman died from an overdose and was found with a syringe in his arm, but his supply was tested and did not contain fentanyl.

We hope that people take this as a lesson and say no to drugs!
