A US death row inmate in Oklahoma died of a heart attack after his execution was halted because the lethal injection of three drugs failed to work properly. The execution of Clayton Lockett, 38, was stopped after 20 minutes, when one of his veins ruptured, preventing the drugs from taking full effect. The execution of fellow inmate Charles F. Warner, due two hours later, was postponed. [NY Times

Americans are growing tired of hearing about US foreign affairs. In a recent report by NBC News/ The Wall Street Journal, 47 percent of Americans want President Obama to focus on issues that happen in the States. Obama recently issued several sanctions on Russia for their tampering with Ukraine, but only 38 percent of Americans approve of his current foreign policy. [NBC News]

A Saks Fifth Avenue shopper got more than just high-end rain boots when she discovered a letter allegedly written by a factory slave from China inside her shopping bag. Stephanie Wilson discovered the letter and turned it over to the police. The note read, “We are ill-treated and work like slaves for 13 hours every day producing these bags in bulk in the prison factory. Thanks and sorry to bother you.” [Daily Mail

Vice President Joe Biden has joined Daniel Craig, Seth Myers, Benicio Del Toro, Dulé Hill, Steve Carell and more, for a PSA that encourages men to say something if they see a woman in danger of getting sexually assaulted. “I am honored to be part of such an important and crucial project,” Craig said in a statement. “The message is clear and simple; everyone has a responsibility.
