The names of the students injured during Thursday’s shooting at Florida State University have been released.

18-year-old Elijah Velez had a minor injury and was treated on scene. The remaining two victims, Nathan Scott and Farhan Ahmad, are both being treated at a local hospital. According to CBS News:

At Strozier Library, about 450 students were studying when Myron May showed up and opened fire. When police arrived, the 31-year-old alumnus had wounded two students and an employee and reloaded a .380 semi-automatic pistol. He refused to put down the weapon and a gun battle erupted in which May was killed.

After entering the library he didn’t get past the lobby, but the sound of gunfire set off screams among students, who scrambled for cover among the bookshelves and barricaded themselves in rooms.

Apparently, the shooter told his friends to be expecting packages the following day.

The first set of packages delivered by May arrived in Texas and has been confiscated by the FBI for further investigation. May believed the government was after him before the incident occurred and loved ones have confirmed that he had previously developed a mental disorder.

We pray for the families and victims at FSU.
