It might be better for a girl like Iggy Azalea to get down with DiGiorno, instead of delivery.
The “Fancy” rap superstar decided to give her tastebuds a treat over the weekend when she ordered Papa Johns. But when the delivery man realized who ordered the food, he gave Iggy’s number to his brother, who repeatedly called and texted her.
TMZ reports that Papa Johns is now attempting to make things right with Iggy:
Papa John’s takes the privacy of its customers seriously, and has taken “appropriate disciplinary action” against the driver who gave out Iggy Azalea‘s phone number … TMZ has learned.
A Papa John’s spokesperson wouldn’t specify what action was taken, but tells us … “We are reaching out directly to Ms. Azalea and hope to resolve this incident and make it right.”
And in case you missed it, here’s what Iggy had to say about the whole ordeal:
. @PapaJohns was my favorite pizza but the drivers they use give out your personal phone number to their family members.

And the supervisors at @PapaJohns refuse to send pictures of their employess so you can identify who it is that steals your information

You know, to protect their privacy… Too bad they don’t value the privacy of their customers also. #DamnShame — IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 8, 2015
Today, she continued with:
I see some of the more mentally challenged blogs think I’m having a war with papa johns. No, I just want answers & they have none.

They are a company that retains your address, name, number & CREDIT card information, expiration cvc number etc.
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
A lot of damage can be done if that falls into the wrong hands, we give them this information with the expectation it remains confidential.

When an employee steals information it’s called data breach. It’s illegal. There are steps a corporation is supposed to follow afterward.

They don’t include tweeting out song lyrics to the customer making the complaint, it’s really unprofessional. I want a real answer.
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
If someone at T-Mobile got your # after you paid a bill and started calling over and over, you’d expect a real resolution via the company.
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
You wouldn’t expect a tweet that said something like “uh oh! Don’t let him use up all your minutes girl!” From the company.
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
You wouldn’t expect the supervisor to say “don’t worry! His mom has spoken with him!”
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
And you’d probably want to get a new credit card too.
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
I want answers @papajohns why is customer confidentiality a joke to your company?
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
DiGiorno also gave its two cents:
.@IGGYAZALEA delivery. smh
— DiGiorno Pizza (@DiGiornoPizza) February 9, 2015
To be fair, if you come across Iggy Azalea’s number, it’s only right that you try your luck… right?
