As expected, celebrities who were involved in Kanye West’s “Famous” visual are starting to speaking up. Chris Brown and George W. Bush seem to be taking it in stride, but all eyes are really on Taylor Swift to see how she will react.

While Swift, who has been infamously involved with West’s antics for years, has yet to make a public statement, a source close to the pop star says she’s predictably unhappy with her part in the clip.

“Taylor is livid and horrified. She didn’t know what to do when she heard about what Kanye did. She is bewildered, feels betrayed, and is beyond frustrated with Kanye. It is like a complete nightmare,” the source tells Hollywood Life.

Swift was already upset over lyrics on the “Famous” track, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that b**** famous,” and while both Kanye, and his wife, Kim Kardashian, have told members of the press that not only did Taylor signed off on the lyrics, but that they actually have video recording of the conversation in which West and Swift spoke, there are now rumors that legal teams are being involved.

“Taylor got her lawyers to threaten Kanye and demanded that the recording was deleted,” a source close to the controversial rapper said. “They stressed the phone call was confidential and that publishing it would violate her rights.” Adding, “It validates that a taped conversation where Taylor was on board with the song does exist.”

It seems like Kanye knew this was coming, to a certain extent. Following the Los Angeles video release show he Tweeted, and since deleted, “Can somebody sue me already #I’llwait.”

As for Kanye’s intention behind the video, he told Vanity Fair that it was not about the shock value. “It’s not in support or anti any of [the people in the video]. It’s a comment on fame,” he said.

It will be interesting to see where this controversy goes from here. One thing’s for sure, without an official statement from Swift, it’s definitely not over.
