Two nights ago it was intense in the “love triangle“ of Chris Brown, Karrueche and Rihanna.
As CB and Ri Ri canoodled in NYC night clubs and subliminal tweets were sent out, we all were left wondering what the f*ck is really going on?
Welp we got way more insight than we can handle when all three parties took to their Twitter accounts to air it out.
In case you missed it, Rihanna kicked it off when she tweeted:
And then the man in the middle sent out a minute and a half long video, honestly admitting he is in fact in a love triangle, he is stressed and he doesn’t want to hurt either of them.
Soon after Karrueche chose to respond to the madness with:
Now as I was in my bed, shocked at all the candidness on my Twitter timeline, I couldn’t help but feel for Karrueche. While I adore Rihanna (most of the time), Karrueche still seems like a very innocent bystander who sincerely cared about this blonde (sometimes blue-haired), pop locking R&B sensation and taking the position of CB’s main girl was definitely no easy task.

Since the physical altercation with Rihanna, anyone to come after clearly had to be strong enough to deal with a lot of the baggage that comes with Chris. We’re not only talking about getting into a relationship with a celebrity where you’re now going to be put under a magnifying glass but you’re getting involved with a celebrity who’s entire existence was slandered (and by some people still is) for an altercation with his ex.
People fill Karrueche’s Twitter replies all the time. Chrianna fans bash her, curse her out, and when she was out with her man, paparazzi would blatantly ask Chris about his ex all the time.
Just imagine if every time you were out with your significant other, people constantly brought their ex’s name up, with questions like “So are you and Rihanna getting back together?” It takes a lot of strength and confidence to deal with that.
This is not to mention in addition to the usual ups and downs of a relationship in general. But Karrueche put on a brave face, whenever a dramatic headline made it’s debut, she either dismissed it with a short tweet or ignored it all together, which leads me to think she isn’t an attention whore, like some have claimed.
Besides outings with Chris, she has never been in the media and we didn’t even know what the girl’s voice sounded like until an old video from a photo shoot hit the web several months ago.
Since news has broken that the two have officially parted ways, I’ve seen people really attack Karrueche, leaving essays in the comments of her Instagram, harassing her about the Chris Brown art inspired tattoo on her hand and questioning her on what her future holds now that she wont have access to Breezy’s pockets or lifestlye anymore?
What a way to go through a break up!
It’s tough enough finding out your man has feelings for someone else but it’s even more difficult when everything unfolds in the public eye.
Karrueche says life moves on and I agree. As cliché as it sounds, everything happens for a reason. The best thing may be for these two to go their separate ways. It would’ve been unfair for the couple to stay together while Chris claims his heart is playing tag between the two ladies and if it is meant to be it will be.
Things may have gone sour between these two but I’m sure they did have good times and somewhere in the chaos there is a lesson that had to be learned on both parts. Maybe Karrueche turned an eye to some of Chris’ actions that foreshadowed what was to come, we may never know. But the girl doesn’t deserve to constantly be put up on the chopping block for that. We’ve all been there, foolish and in love, and hopefully most of us have or will learn from the experience.
