Earlier today we reported that Gwyneth Paltrow tweeted “Ni**as in paris for real,” while enjoying the Watch The Throne tour in France.

Sounds like someone got a little caught up in the moment!

Even though she just wrote the name of a song, many people didn’t think it was appropriate for her to tweet the word as a white woman.

Paltrow responded to all the criticism a day after and said:

“Hold up. It’s the title of the song!”

However, it turns out Gwyneth might not have been the author of that tweet. Singer The-Dream, who was with her when the tweet went out, said that he actually tweeted that message – but from Gwyneth’s phone.

A fan wrote to the artist, “Uhhh. You know you are not supposed to use that word right?” and The-Dream responded:

“Fyi Sorry for the Confu I typed Ni**as in paris for real from Gwens Phone my bad I was Fkd up please excuse it! We were lit!”

He continued on to make several comments about the usage of the n-word.

Context is everything. Meaning it in the context as a Song which is how we Sold it to the world!!!!!! it is what it is.”

“I’ve seen people not use the Word at all and have been the most racist people rather than use it in the context as the song it self.”
